And the Online server for windows nt Well, I guess this is just a case of YMMV. I'm the worlds largest UNIX bigot, yet I'm continually surprised by the performance of our up to 200gig DW product running on NT 4.0 under OnLine Dynamic Server 7.23, with a 32-bit Powerbuilder GUI. I've worked extensively with HP from 9 to 10.20 on OnLine 5.x to 7.23. The worst performance nightmares were from a HP K440 (Ithink) with 7 processors. I have a Gateway 4-processor NT box running NT4.0 that is blowing away the HPs. Don't discount Informix on NT. jpl -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Lumbley(jlumbley@netcom.com) author of: "INFORMIX DBA Survival Guide" Slaving away on "INFORMIX DEBUGGERS Survival Guide", available early 1998 from Prentice Hall/Informix Press.
