Re: HPL error starting ipload

Am I correctly assuming 10.00.FC4 here? It might be worth mentioning than ipload always has been a UC, even if the server was an FC before 10.00 and latest 9.40, i.e. ipload always was 32bit and now is 64bit with FC server versions. We have seen problems like this on other platforms, usually with very first graphic appearing on your X server. The problems always turned out to be X server, so 'client' (machine) related (I think it was some not-so-current Linux then). And, yes, it was 64bit specific. Do you see your problem during initial startup as well? What is your client machine and X environment? Have you tried different client machines/X environments? It is also worth mentioning that it shouldn't make a difference whether you use an FC or UC ipload binary ... and whether you have the most current (here: 10.00.FC4) ipload, i.e. an older ipload binary is always worth a try.
