There are a few Informix products you might be interested in (a-hem!), particularly NewEra (unofficially known as 4GL++), which indeed is a suite of tools including a form painter than generates 4GL code. It's new, it's hot, and if I say any more I'll be accused of playing the salesman. Also, you might want to look at Windstar, Fourgen, and JAM, all long-time code generators. Contact your local office for Informix' In-Sync and VAR catalogs.
