Hopefully you mean "informix" all lower case - if you had a pre-existing
"Informix" user when you installed you can run into a problem.

Can't think of a good reason to get an error like this with only 1 CPU
VP, unless maybe something has exhausted working set or some other
resource on your machine. I've only seen this error once before on
Windows and it required an OS re-install.
