OWS install into services ServerAgent, which sometime allocate all available virtual memory from NT (solution is simple: stop it and start again). In docs is no word about server agent nor way to limit its memory allocating. (Mayby it is solved using SP 2 for NT 4.0, because since we install it - 2 week ago - problem was not appear). We are using SQL Windows from Centura, and this is our two big problems: 2. If we execute SQL statement with WHERE clause where we compare number column with bind variable which becomes runtime NULL value, this due to crash OWS (GPF in oninit.exe). No messages in system logs nor informix log files. Solution is simple too. Be aware of this SQL statements - if we found this we had about 10 MB source code written, because before we used only UNIX version of Informix. 3. If we want connect from client to OWS on NT 4.0 we must add user to this NT - it is ok, but this user MUST have enabled local logon to NT. This is special only on NT 4.0 (PDC). With NT 3.51 it works without enabled local logon. Regard of this I think it works quite well and fast.
