IDS upgrade from 7.31 UC4
Hi, Can anybody please tell me which is the best version to upgrade from IDS7.31 UC4 running on Sun Solaris 9.x. We have our BAN version 4c4 running on IDS7.31UC4 and we are using Iconnect 2.1 We are in the process of upgrading to 7.31UD5-1, please tell me whether this is the stable version for BAN and what are the existing problems when running BAN4c4 on IDS 7.31 UD5-1 or do we have to go for some other verson. What are the benefits that we will get when we upgrade. What is the latest and the stable version of Iconnect which is compatible with IDS7.31 UD5 and sun solaris 9.x. We are having IDS enterprise edition, where can we download iconnect from or the media has to be got from IBM. As i feel that there is no purchasing required if we are having the enterprice edition. Hi, does "BAN" mean BAAN ... the software vendor? we have SAP, the software vendor... our first place to look for supported Informix versions is SAP. check with your software vendor.... you don't want to call them for support and find out they won't help you because you are on an engine version they have not approved.
