Re: Archive Timestamp

The "timestamp" has nothing to do with time. We mark all changes with an incremental counter - this is the stamp. Some time ago, the term timestamp started being used for this. The archive timestamp is simply the current value of this counter when the archive is begun. It is used to determine if a page is to be saved on the archive or not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------ Subject: Archive Timestamp From: chaiw@ibm.net (Chaiw Kok Kee) Date: 28 Apr 97 07:51:47 GMT Message-ID: <33645713.0@news1.ibm.net> I'm trying to retrieve the timestamp of the last Online Backup and do no know how. I wonder if someone can help me. I tried doing a tbcheck -pr and got 2 time. According to the manual, 1. Real time archive began is the date and time of the last checkpoint and timestamp. 2. Timestamp archive is the timestamp of the archive (decimal). How do I convert this timestamp into dd/mm/yyyy? I don't think this is julian date. Any advice appreciated.
