I-STAR Questions

Hello netters, I really don't know whether I have to buy both I-STAR and I-NET for this: my application needs to access another Informix database on different machine (called it A), machine A already had I-STAR installed, while still be able to access the local database. My though is that (it might be wrong), since this is a one-way interface, we'll be a client and we should not need I-STAR. Is this assumption correct?
