Script/Stored Proc to monitor Users/Tables

Does anyone have a good script/stored procedure on Unix runing ODS 7.24 or 7.3 which would allow a DBA to monitor users and show what tables they are locking and in what mode? Maybe another way also, table xyz is being used by "n" users and here is the mode? This would be invaluable at certain times! Thanks in advance :-)
