Tusk tusk, and there I was thinking c.d.i. was an open forum for discussion of Informix related topics. How blonde of me. I have a very good understanding of how Oracle rigged their TPC benchmarks. I am sure you do too Dude. As you have such a good working knowledge of TPC, then you will know why the TPC-D benchmark is now obsolete, and why the TPC found it necessary to introduce two new benchmarks, TPC-H & TPC-R. Evidently you would not believe my 'facts' if I supplied them to you, so why don't you talk to Informix directly about their recent benchmarking policies, or even discuss it with TPC, if you are so well acquainted? ---------------------------------------------------------------- Get your free email from AltaVista at http://altavista.iname.com
