Could anyone tell me at what value the onstat counters wrap. I am
particularly interested in the following:
onsta -D page I/O for chunks
onstat -g iof disk I/O for chunks
onstat -p server profile (I/O, ISAM, CPU)
onstat -g glo virtual processes
From observation it appears that the page and disk I/O counters (-D, -g
iof) wrap at 2097151 (1FFFFF),
and that the profile counters (-p) wrap at 4294967295 (FFFFFFFF). I am
assuming that they wrap at a bit boundary.
I am not sure about the CPU time counters in the profile and virtual
processes (-p, -g glo). My best guess is that they count milliseconds in
32 bit counters, ie. wrap at 4294967 seconds.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Please EMail if possible. Thanks...
