Hi, You definetly need either IConnect or CLI. We have our database on NT and CLI comes on the CD. Infact the ODBC driver comes along with CLI. You do not need to get the driver from Intersolv. I think that the ODBC driver talks to the CLI instead of communicating to the server and the CLI then communicates with the server. It is not just for network connection.
