Assert Failed / Segmentation violation

Hi, Does anyone know exactly what is the meaning of : Assert Failed: Internal Error - Segmentation ViolationWho - doesn't really matter in this case as my users would not have done anything unusual wih the server/database throught the applications. OnLine must abort and has to be reinitialized manually. Could this be caused by an unsuccessful attempt to dynamically allocate a new shared memory or a known bug ?? Some background info: Informix OnLine v 7.23.UC7 AIX 4.2.1 Memory size 512 MB SHMVIRTSIZE 46384 SHMADD 16384 Average memory usage ~ 136MB Thanks for any help I can get.
