Hi, You can install SimbaExpress. SimbaExpress will connect your clients (Office or VB) to the data source (Informix) with a server in the middle. For the client component you won't have to do anything, just install the client component and it will connect to the server component for you. For the server component you will need to have available the Informix ODBC driver (Informix-CLI) and the informix client libraries (Informix-Net and Informix-Online Dynamic Server or Informix-SE). Once your have these installed properly on the SimbaExpress server your clients applications can access your data source.
