Hello. I'm starting to use DAL for C/S retrieval of information from my informix database and have found that the things I so much used before (like the '*' wildcard and 'outer' joins) dont work (because of standards?) so I'm having trouble with writing complicated sql queries. Does anyone know of a good book(s) thats got the do's and dont's of such sql creating? (I'm using 4Dimension on Mac and Pacer DAL on the Unix for this.) Gaukur. gaukur@rhi.hi.is
