termcap (HELP!)

Hi ! I am new on Solaris without any experiences with INFORMIX. I have the following problem... On "my" machine is running INFORMIX. The users of INFORMIX use the re-defined termcap file (not the default, which is in /usr/share/lib, but the special one in /opt/informix/etc). I compiled the gopher client, but the problem is, that the "arrow keys" don't work correctly. The INFORMIX users use wyse-60 terminals with extension to 25 lines and 80 columns. I tried to rewrite the /opt/informix/etc/termcap for wyse-60, created by previous system administrator, where i changed the codes for arrow's movement to default. It means, i've done this: Re-defined codes in /opt/informix/etc/termcap: kl=\\b - left arrow (backspace) kr=\\f - right arrow ku=^K - up arrow (default CTRL sequence) kd=\\n - down arrow (next line) I changed these sequences to default for wyse-60: kl=^H kr=^L kd=^J ku=^K I hoped, that after this will the arrow keys work fine. But they won't... I've read the manual for creating the new definition of terminal in termcap file, but I'm sure, I just need to re-define the arrow sequences back to default. Could anyone help me ? Thanx... milan@tuzvo.sk
