Connect to ODS 7.30 via 7.22 Clients

Hello everyone, is it possible to connect a client software (build with ESQL/C ESQL/COBOL 7.22 or 7.23) to INFORMIX ODS 7.30? We are working on HP UX 10.10/10.20 and IBM AIX 3.2.5.
