Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Informix users have not been associated with Unix users since version 5, I
believe. You will not find the users with any ps command.

Hi
I am running Online 7.23 on HP 10.20
I know onstat -u shows a list of the application users.
How do you get current user on unix? Can we?
Is user in unix and Informix always the same?
it seems to always be same as unix.
Where do you add user in informix?
I used to be Oracle DBA. With Oracle, ps -eaf | grep whoever will show
a list of current users. Also, within Oracle, I added users to it.
Does Informix have the same way as Oracle?
Thanks in advance for the response.
Thuc
