As the original proposer of the job offers netiquette monthly postings, I feel I must add a few comments. It seems that many people are annoyed by job offers, but many (me included) are even more annoyed by all this fuss about how ineducate these recruiters are. The whole point here is that we should lower the noise level and not add to it! In other words this public speculation thing does not sound right to me. To reiterate, we can arrange all sorts of things to minimize the inconvenience caused by recruites, but we must let them know what we expect them to do, and that IMHO should be done by the IIUG. Once we've done that, the next step is to complain to the admin guys of the offending site.
