Help adding new CPU

We have IDS 9.21 UC 6 Running on Solaris 2.6 on an Enterprise 4500 Sun box Had 4 cpu and 4 gig memory. Added 4 CPU and 4 gig memory. I have upped the numCPUvps onconfig from 4 to 7 (also tried VPCLASS cpu,num=7) I have upped the nettype field from tlitcp,4,50,CPU to tlitcp,7,50,CPU Informix - onperf shows 8 CPU now but the physical processor graph only shows hitting on 4 CPU the rest are blank. It shows activity on CPU 1,2,5,6 and nothing on CPU 3,4,7,8. I tried to AFFinity over to CPUI 3 but the system just got terribly slow. What other config or environment variables should I be updating, or is there an OS variable that needs updated? Any help is greatly appreciated. Carl
