It pulled > back the old server name as the default (don't know where it was > getting this from Ilogin is going to get the default name from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Informix\\Environment If you don't have anything set there it will get it from: HKEY_USERS\\.DEFAULT\\Software\\Informix\\Environment I didn't understand the problem, but it's possible that although you deleted the obsolete server definition there was something still in one of these environment keys.
