Try checking the name of the Informix DLL that the BDE is trying to access. I seem to recall the dll name as isqlt07.dll. Is that dll present in you client $INFORMIXDIR? Change the BDE setting as appropriate. If that doesn't work, install Informix CLI or Iconnect. I have always used either of the above to connect to Informix from Delphi. Thanks for your answer but the problem has changed.
