Formating Double when Unloading Data

Is there any way to format Decimal data when unloading to the file. I have a query: "Select Sum(a) +Sum(b)+sum(c) ... + Sum(x) ...", where a-z are decimal(16,2), however output of this query will be sometimes(16,2) , sometimes (16,16). Do you have any idea how to fix it ? Is it a bug ? Output should be 16,2 We have Informix 7.30, on HP UX 10.2 Thanks in advance for any responses.
