I posted this on Sunday, when the error occurred - but I don't think it got though. Here's the recap: HP-UX 10.01 / SE5.03UC1 On Saturday, we ran a bcheck and aborted it halfway through. We then restarted the bcheck and started to recieve errors out the wazoo! Now - what caused the errors on files that bcheck had already cleared by (shouldn't any errors have occurred on the file that it was stopped at)? What's the difference between bchecking .dat's and .idx's? From the restore, we overwrote the systables (they were messed too) in the process removing controls to a table that we kinda need back. If there's no record (in the systables) of the table, how can we recreate the table? Thanks! -Joseph
