We have done this exact thing. It was purely mechanical work, the SP
languages are too different to write a porting tool, and you have to
watch out for SQLServer's long column and table names. Informix's are
only 18 characters long (the then-current ANSI standard).
You are faced with a large re-write, I'm afraid.
