Can't cpio IDS.CPI
Hello all,
I am trying to install IDS 9.21.UC3 on Irix 6.5.17 and getting no
responce when running the cpio command to expand Informix:
# ls -ltotal 447320
-r--r--r-- 1 root other 229027840 Aug 1 10:09 IDS.CPI
# cpio -icvdumB IDS.CPI
There isn't a further response from the CPIO command. "top" is showing
that the cpio command starts for a second and never returns to the top
of the list. The CPU is almost 100% idle, with 214MG memory free and
492MG swap available. No errors/warnings in "/var/adm/SYSLOG".
Does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? Or does anyone know the
Solaris "truss" equivalent on Irix? TIA.
