Temporary tables

I'm new to Informix coding and off on my first mission. I need to unload the contents of a table at a remote location to an ascii file, ftp it to my location and load it into a temporary table for viewing. Once the application is exited the table and the file should be deleted. The unload, ftp and disposition of the ascii file are obvious, any pointers on the local business? Also there may be several users in the application at the same time so each would need to have their own unique temp table. All thoughts welcome here...
