There is nothing wrong with getting the same ffect with different configurations (e.g. trade money saved on log space with memory for a bufferpool). What Boeing can buy for $1M is substantially more computing power than what Joe's Bar and Grill can buy for the exact same dollars. But slice it or dice it anyway you wish ... knowing how fast SAP runs benefits far more people than knowing how fast TPC runs. -- Daniel A.
