error when trying to create a chunk

I am testing Informix Workgroup server 7.20UC2 on sco unix 3.2v5.0. When I use on onspaces to create a new chunk I am getting a file permission error. onspaces -c -d dbs1 -p /j/DATA1 -o 0 -s 500000 Receive error: The chunk '/j/DATA1' must have owner-ID and group-ID set to informix. The permission of /j/DATA1 is: -rw-rw---- 1 informix informix 0 <date> DATA1 Any suggestions ?
