This works fine. It's your responsibility to make sure of database
integrity of course. I am not sure what would happen if a foreign key
relatioship would result from this, but assume it will not be detected
until the relevent rows are accessed.
I would also always run an integrity check at the tabel/index level
useing becheck/secheck after any restore.
