Hello all, We are trying to automate some of our database operations, and one of the stumbling blocks we have come across is trying to talk to a different departments MS SQL server running on an NT box from our Informix 9.14uc4 database running on a SGI Origin 200 running IRIX 6.4. We have talked to several different vendors, informix, etc...all didnt seem to be of any help. Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this through ODBC? -- ======================== Jack Avenevoli Web Database Specialist The Sporting News Online
Well, there is always VTI, but this is a complex solution. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish by talking to the other server, you may be able to simply use something like DataStage to move data around.
