OK I've got a development SUN box running IDS v9.3 and I've loaded 47+ Million rows into a geo_code table for this client. No one has done archiving before and they are in the process of getting their NetBackup licenses for this box. In the meantime I have gotten the SA to give me a 60GB partition (/informixdump) to which to archive to disk. Being a firm believer in Murphy I don't want to spend 3 days reloading this table again.
