dbexport with multiple users

In recent versions of IDS It is possible to run a dbexport with multiple
user on-line?
I know it is not possible in previous versions because dbexport put an
exclusive lock on the database and I understand that: because of
consistency.
However I don't know if 11.10 or 11.5 address this like ontape/onbar does
where you can do a consistent archive no matter if there are multiple users.
Thanks in advance.

No, you still cannot do that. If you need to take an export of an entire
database while users are online, get my dbexport/dbimport replacement
utilities, myexport/myimport in the package 'myexport' from the IIUG
Software Repository (www.iiug.org/software). You will also need the
following other utilities: sqlunload & sqlreload from Jonathan Leffler's
sqlcmd package, myonpload package by Ravi Krishna, and myschema from my
package utils2_ak.
Myexport and myimport are fully compatible with dbexport and dbimport but do
not lock the database. In addition, they provide useful options like
parallel unloading of tables to minimize the possibility of inconsistent
data due to partially updated records created during the export, a myimport
feature to filter out such inconsistent data, the ability to optionally use
the High Performance Loader to perform the actual data movement which tends
to be faster than dbexport/dbimport, and others.
