Recommendations are: 1 2 and 3 tables. If you have the one table and are contemplating a change - for any of the reasons listed by supporters of 2 and 3 tables - do so. But they are simply additions to the one you have, and you can wait until you need the capabilities before making the change. Douglas Holmes - supporter of the 1 table approach.
