In Powerbuilder 4.x, I was told by a SENIOR technical support lady from Powerbuilder that there is a sample Powerbuilder code on how to retrieve text/blob greater than 32K. Apparently, there is no simple way in Powerbuilder. I was also told that UPDATEBLOB does not issue COMMIT anymore. I am not sure where you can locate the sample code thought.
