Metacube & PDQ

When a user logs into Metacube several queries are run to verify a valid user and download table and filter definitions. Because of our configuration file PDQPRIORITY setting (90) these queries are considered under the domain of the Memory Grant Manager (MGM). This is ok except when the maximum number of DSS queries are running. Then the login procedure hangs until MGM decides it is ok to release these start-up queries. One way to stop this from happening would be to add a line in the SQL "set pdq = zero". However; I cannot locate where the start-up queries reside.
