Hi, folks! We are developing an application using Delphi C/S 1.0 (Win 3.1) and Informix On-Line 5 and Informix SE 7. We have a bunch of trouble and questions: * How can we lock a row (a 'select for update' statement)? A select for update statement in the SQL property of a TQuery produces a BDE error, and it seems that there is not such a function to lock a row in Delphi's libraries. * In many places, Delphi's manual talks about PASSTHROUGH MODE, which we think it is used to communicate native SQL statements to the DBMS. However, whenever we change that value to NOT SHARED (as recommended in Delphi's manual), an error is raised. We will be so grateful if any of you can bring some ideas...
