IDS 11.50 xml functions and Text data type

Dear All... I was exploring and testing the new xml functions available with IDS 11.50.UC5 (genxml, genxlmelem, genxmlquery, ...). Through the documentation and my different tests, I did not find any way to include TEXT data field into the generated xml. Is it possible ? Any other method to do so ?
