RMI

I want to access the informix database server in applet through RMI. When I tried the demo provided with informix jdb, it doesn't work. Anyone who has experience on this could give me some instructions ? The informix database server is installed on WindowsNT environment. After I have compiled the JR.java , JRConn.java, JRImpl.java and JRServer.java and get the class file, I execure "rmic JRImpl", it seems well. When I execute "rmiregistry" on command prompt, it seems it goes into an unended loop, no response for a long time. What is the problem ? Best regards, -WuGang
