Informix Online Problems

Hi There, I would be very interested to hear from any sites which have a configuration similar to mine, we are having severe problems with Online 4.0. Hardware : Mips RC6280 128 Mb Memory 3.5 Gb disk. Software : Informix Online 4.0 configured for up 100 users. The problem in brief; about twice a week Online locks up. Tbmonitor reports that all process are 'waiting for a log buffer'. The system cannot be shutdown by using the monitor the only way to restore the system is to bring everything down with tbmode. I can give more details should anybody require them, what I want to know is : a) has anyone else experienced a smilar problem, if so on what platform ? b) is it fixed in 4.1 ? c) has anybody found a way of bringing the system back to life ?
