We are running IDS 9.40FC5 on AIX 5.3, and have been asked to find a way to keep our developers from changing production data, on a very short time table (3 weeks). I have considered revoking update, insert, and delete from public for all tables and then granting update, insert, and delete to each end-user. Unfortunately with our large number of tables and users, this quickly becomes unmanagable. I have also considered upgrading to 10 because it offers default roles, but I don't think we could get it certified by the end-users in the short time-frame. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
