Downgrading from Enterprise to Growth license

Hi, Does anyone have any experience downgrading their Informix license from Enterprise to Growth? The cost savings for us are significant, even considering the initial purchase of the Growth license. We've looked at the differences in the licenses, and believe we can live with all the limitations of Growth, except two that we're unsure of: 1. No Direct I/O for Cooked files 2. No Private Memory Cache for CPU VPs We're prepared to convert to Raw files, and I'm told performance is comparable with Cooked files using Direct I/O. Is that correct? And are there any concerns with Raw files one should be aware of? That leaves point 2, Private Memory Cache. I believe we can turn this feature off and see what the effect is in our current enterprise environment, but before we take the plunge, as anyone done this? If so, what were the effects on performance? Thanks.

Typically RAW is 4-5% faster than COOKED with DIRECT_IO and about 10-15% faster than COOKED devices and 20-25% faster than COOKED filesystem files without DIRECT_IO. > > That leaves point 2, Private Memory Cache.
