Connecting with JDBC driver

Hi, I have Informix OnLine 7.30 for aix 4.3.2 and recently purchased Informix SDK client 2.2 for win98. I'm a new with java programming. I have Icli in my win95 and it's working fine. I want to know the correct way to specify the URL string in JAVA so that I can connect with my database server. Is there anyone who can help me? Thanks in advance Manuel
