Internal Electronic Mail INTERGRAPH BENELUX B.V. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Projects Services Group Date: 13th August 1993 To: informix-list@rmy.emory.edu From: David A Tarbox-Cooper Subject: Job Adverts on the Net ======================================================================= For those of you worried about band width on this subject, I have received more email this morning discussing emailed job adverts than I have received job adverts themselves all week! There seems to me to be a similarity between our network and broadcasting at large. The question surely is, "Who should be the censor?", if indeed there should be one! Why get upset, hot under the collar or what-ever. Isn't there enough tension and conflict without generating more? Live and let live, show some tollerance. Dare I even say it, be constructive! It has already been suggested in one form or the other, rather than "Ban", let's redirect or provide a forum that is acceptable to everybody. The ultimate sanction, as with TV, lies with the individual. Filter it yourself!
