Hoo-boy, this same question has been posted so often, I'd say it should go in the FAQ, but for the apparent transient nature thereof... Anyway, yes, there do seem to be a lot of problems with this platform, and there is a list of OS patches as long as your arm that you have to apply. It may be something you can find via Deja News or maybe you need to find an Informix techie who specialises in HP.
