Order of Installation

The installation handbook for IDS 2000 9.21 says that the server should be installed first, then the tools. However the tools manuals (ver 7.3) suggests installing the tools first THEN the server which was the way I've always installed prior versions. WHich one is correct? TIA Ian

The general rule of thumb is to install the oldest software first.
