I use 7.12 on Dec Alpha 3.2. Yes there is, but it's difficult. I've solved the problem (on SCO Openserver 5) using a program i've written (in C). The program runs with SUID root and changes a user's password. SCO Openserver has specific routines to change a user's password, which are unique to SCO. I don't know if other Unix vendor provide the neccesary routines. Koen.
