The configuration file specifies the size of new segments(SHMADD) that'll
be allocated in quantums for sessions. A session not necessarily uses up
all
of it, so you see the two pieces of info.
For example, if SHMADD = 8192 (i.e. 8 KB at a time), and your session
only used 3K of this segment, it still has about 5K before it requests
another
segment of shared memory. However, the 'free' memory within this segment
cannot be really freed up for other sessions to use.
