6.0 DSA has numerous enhancements to the tbstat (now onstat) utility. A
feature called onstat -g sql shows you the TTs owned by a specific user
process (or rather thread).
Another advantage is that, because DSA does its own scheduling, there are
no sqlturbos and therefore no chance of anyone using kill on them, so the
risk of it happening in the first place is reduced.

Sounds like the sqlturbos could have been zapped with tbmode -z before
bringing OnLine down? Although it's odd that running Shutdown didn't do
this for you. (I assume you ran shutdown and not kill?)
