onautovop adventure...

Hello, I'm trying to get onautovop to work but somehow the whole procedure fails. To be exact, I'm setting up archive requests through onarchive, definining the backup vset to end in _VOP as requested in the manuals and start onautovop through the start_autovop script....somehow though, onautovop, starts...waits a few secs and exits....no log left behind, no errors. BTW, oncatlgr is running. Has anyone seen anything like this? I'd apreciate any comments/suggestions.
